We are looking for new team members to provide supply cover for our Forest Pre-School’s, Home Ed sessions and Holiday Clubs. On the application form you can specify which Pre-Schools, home Ed sessions you wish to cover and the days/hours you are available. There is no obligation to accept the work and it will be offered on an ‘ad hoc basis’. During the session you will support the other practitioners to deliver fun and challenging experiences for children aged 1-11. No formal early years qualification or Forest School experience is required but the ability to work flexibly and with little notice is essential.
Forest School Home Education Support Practitioner
– Cricket Camp, River Hamble Country Park
Due to the expansion of our Home Education Services we require a Part Time Practitioner to join our growing team. The position is flexible and is term time only (39 weeks). 14 hours, 09.00-16.00 Monday and Wednesday.
Working outdoors in all weathers you will be supporting children’s learning and development through Forest School inspired activities. This will include allowing children opportunities to explore the natural environment, go bug hunting, build dens, dig in the mud and cook on the campfire.
A forest school qualification would be desirable but not essential. Experience of Forest Schools or outdoor education is preferred but not essential. Salary range £8.91 - £9.98 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
.Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Hinton
We currently require an Early Years Practitioner to join our established team at the Forest Pre-School & Nursery in Hinton. The position is initially a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave with the possibility of a moving to a permanent contract after the year. You will be based in the Pre-School working 30 hours per week, term time only.
The Pre-School at Hinton is our busiest and most established setting taking up to 32 children from 2 years 6 months to 5 years. You will become part of an established team providing a range of Forest School activities for the children to enjoy. Using the natural surroundings in the woodland you will explore the changing seasons, support campfires, allow opportunities for tool work and much more.
A level 3 early years qualification is essential as is the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience of Forest Schools or outdoor education is preferred but not essential. Salary range £8.91 - £9.98 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
