Forest School Caretaker
Hours: 8–16 hours per week (flexible)
Location: Hinton, Copythorne & River Hamble Country Park
Salary: £12.21–£15.03 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Are you happiest working outdoors, hands-on, and surrounded by nature? We’re looking for a practical, reliable, and nature-loving Caretaker to help maintain our beautiful Forest School sites — including our woodland and paddock areas.

About the role
You’ll play a key part in keeping our outdoor learning spaces safe, welcoming, and thriving. Typical tasks include:

General site maintenance and repairs

Helping to care for our chickens and ducks
-
Maintaining the fruit and vegetable patches
-
Building and repairing shelters and outdoor structures
-
Laying woodchip, clearing brambles and nettles, and keeping paths tidy
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work and takes pride in practical tasks.

About you
We’re looking for someone who is:

Handy and confident with tools and basic repairs

Experienced in landscaping, a trade, or enthusiastic about DIY

Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Has access to transport (to work across all our sites)

Learning Support Facilitator- Embers Project Hub
Hours: 6.5 hours per week (Monday 9am–3.30pm)
Location: Embers Project Hub, Bransgore, New Forest
Term: Term Time Only (39 weeks – following Hampshire School Terms)
Salary: £12.21–£12.85 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Are you enthusiastic, innovative, and ready for a role that values child autonomy and embraces project-based learning? We’re looking for a Learning Support team member to help create engaging, hands-on learning experiences in a nurturing environment.
​
About the role
As a key member of the team, you’ll contribute to planning and delivering activities tailored to different academic levels, helping children thrive through curiosity and creativity. You’ll also play a vital role in building strong connections with children and their families, supporting wellbeing and growth.
While prior experience as a Teaching Assistant is beneficial, we welcome applications from anyone with a genuine passion for creating enriching learning experiences.
