Come join us for a day/s of fun in the woodland. Through a child led experience, you child may take part in activities such as den building, bug hunting, cooking on the campfire, tool work, fire lighting, pond dipping, soft archery and whittling to name a few.

  • Dear Parent/Carer,

    Thank you for choosing the Outdoor Adventurers Holiday Club at Hinton. We are sure your child/ren will find their time with us interesting, challenging and inspiring. Below is some useful information and instructions on how to register your child/ren. 
    Registration Information (please return completed forms with the child on their first day). If you have never been along to one of our holiday clubs you will need to complete our registration form, this will be emailed to you within 7 days of your booking. Please bring this form with you
    on the day. if you can not print the form, do not panic there will be spares on the day. if you have been before you do not need to complete another form.

    General Information
    Opening times - The Holiday Club runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
    Refreshments – Please pack a snack, during the morning there will be an opportunity for your child to have their snack. We also ask they bring a drink, though we will always have water on offer.
    Lunch - Please provide a lunch box for your child/ren.
    Clothing – As we operate outside in all weathers, it is essential you follow our guide lines on clothing and
    spare clothes. We require that you send your child/ren in long sleeves and trousers as we will be walking through the forest and woodland areas. They also require (all year round)-
    suitable Waterproofs (trousers and coat) (if you need advice please do not hesitate to contact us.)

    Ÿ 2 x spare trousers
    Ÿ 2 x long sleeve tops
    Ÿ 2 x warm jumpers

    OUR STAFF TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT ACCEPT A CHILD WHO IS NOT DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE DAY. If children do not come prepared with the above (all year round) it will have a big impact on whether the enjoy themselves or not. There is no such thing as bad weather justbad clothing.
    Sun protection - Sun cream & a sun hat must be provided (just in case!) (except during the winter months)


    Health and Safety at the Outdoor Adventurers Holiday Club
    The Outdoor Learning Company Health and Safety Booklet is available to any families attending our activities. It covers our key policies and procedures, safe working procedures, risk assessments, activities
    and health and safety information. Simply request a booklet and we can post or email you a copy.

    PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TICKS ARE ON THE INCREASE IN THE NEW FOREST. WE WILL SEND OUT AN INFORMATION SHEET WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM, WHICH WE ADVISE YOU TO READ. THIS WILL HELP WITH PREVENTION AND CONTAINS INFORMATION ON WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A TICK.

    We will run our sessions come rain or shine. However, we may cancel up to 24hrs before the session if we are predicted high winds and the woodland is deemed unsafe. A full refund will be issued in this
    case.
